Smoking in all enclosed public spaces and in the workplace is banned. The Workplace Regulations (1992) requires employers to ensure that arrangements are made to protect non-smokers from discomfort caused by tobacco smoke. The Health Act 2006 banned smoking in all enclosed public spaces and the workplace. It is the fundamental right of people to breathe clean air over the right of smokers to smoke.
