Childcare vouchers up to a value of £50 per week free from tax and national insurance contributions are available to employees. This is a scheme whereby the employee needs to give up part of their salary in exchange for the vouchers. This is not an obligatory scheme but could possibly save the average employee up to £850 per annum by not paying national insurance contributions and tax on the vouchers.
